Potty Success!!!!

Yes!!! It's official...our youngest is potty trained!!! Our trip up to Michigan to see the grandparents must've done something for our lil girl. She held it all the way up there (3 hours) and went as soon as we got in. That very first night there (Sat.), she took her first dump in the john. So proud of her!! I didn't even have to ask her. She slept all night with no accidents (which she'd been doing all week though). As soon as she was up, she asked to go potty. I'd take her in and she'd go. Throughout the weekend, she went whenever she felt the need to go and asked for our assistance on the pot. We had no problems at all. She also held it all the way home, and when we got in the door yesterday (Monday), she said she had to go. So, I excorted her to the bathroom and she proceeded to go. No problems! I am astonished at how easy she has been this past week! Only those initial 3 or 4 accidents the first couple days. And here I thought she was going to be more difficult than her older sister! The Lord must've heard my prayers for an easy training and sanity. I am so thankful...not only for myself, but for my little girl who has done so wonderfully this past week and is now wearing 'big girl panties'! She claps her hands telling dh and I and the girls every time. We are so proud of her. |
