Today is yet another break....but not for cleaning. Just a day off. I woke up late and had to make a LOT of phone calls for things. So, I told my girls that they had the day off and could go outside and play. It's quite windy outside today and very gray and gloomy. I was half expecting them to say, 'no thanks, mom', but they didn't. Instead, they got dressed, got their coats on and headed outside full of eagerness to play. Cool with me! My youngest is in her room playing with her dollies again...as I am not much in the mood for going outside myself and don't think my other girls are quite ready for watching her outside by themselves. Me...I'm done with the phone calls and am working on the little bit o' laundry I have left from the other day and the dishes. Not much...just a little. But at least I don't feel buried in it anymore. My house is clean (as it's gonna get) and I don't feel that constant pressure to clean SOMETHING. I can relax a little now. It's nice. I think I'll play a board game with the girls when they get inside. |
