TOS Spring Promo!

I love The Old Schoolhouse Magazine! I was introduced to it last summer by a fellow homeschooler...who also writes for TOS. She gave me a free copy to read, after I had come over to her house to talk about curriculums. (Thanks Kim!) After leaving, I was very interested in delving into the magazine since I didn't subscribe to any myself. The cover was beautiful and quaint, with it's old schoolhouse on it. It also had many articles advertised on the cover, concerning homeschooling issues that I had an interest in. So, I found a comfortable spot to read on my couch and started to read. I found that I absolutely could not put it down!! This magazine was AWESOME! There were helpful articles all over the place in it, as well as letters from other homeschoolers with similar concerns as my own. It's as if the publishers of this magazine had read my mind! There was information on many different curriculums (some I had never even heard of), unit studies, lapbooking, notebooking, etc. I felt like I had just won the homeschool lottery! I couldn't get through the whole magazine in one sitting...there was just too much. So, over the next week or two, I would sit for a little while and read my new magazine. My husband would walk into the room and ask "Oh...reading your magazine again, eh?" I would be so engulfed in it, that I would just look up quickly to acknowledge what he had asked and then continue to read. I had so many questions about homeschooling answered in just that one issue. It had totally eased a lot of my apprehensions as a newby homeschooler. I have since gotten a subscription of my own and am anxiously awaiting the Spring issue!! I still hold onto my old issues though, in a folder, in case I want/need to read them again.  I LOVE this magazine! Now is your chance to get in on the reading!
