A Day in the Life...
Jun. 17, 2008
Jonathan Park is Awesome!
Thanks to seeing my last post, an online friend and fellow homeschoolblogger directed me to an online site that airs the Jonathan Park series! I had seen this series earlier this year at Vision Forum's site. I wanted to buy it, but we didn't have the cash at the time. Anywhooo...wonderful Sally wrote me a comment and told me where to find it aired weekly online! Woohoo! My daughters and me listened to it yesterday and loved it! It reminded me a lot of the Adventures In Odyssey radio series. I love those too...so do my girls. I REALLY like these Jonathan Park ones though, since I am a big fan of archaeology...particularly Biblical archaeology. Kind of like an Christian Indiana Jones series. ha ha! My eldest liked it a lot and can't wait til this Saturday's episode. Me..I liked the study guides that can go with them! Sally said she had used them with her girls one year for a Creation Science curriculum. I can see how...it's very thorough and well written...easily understood by my girls. I don't have the ink to print them up right now, but we read through one of them online and enjoyed discussing the topics in it (The Great Flood...creationism vs. evolution). Thanks again Sally!! This is AWESOME!

We *heart* the whole Jonathan Park series! The kids would beg for it every time we got in the car. It is so interesting and educational and encouraging.

Have a great week!
