A Day in the Life...
Jul. 18, 2008
She's Home!
My eldest is now home!! Woohoo! I missed her SOOOO MUCH!!  We talked all the way home and then some more after we got here. She had such a terrific time and the camp staff were wonderful!  They even made a point to wish her a happy birthday on Tuesday. She made many new friends too (of which she has in her new address book)...taking LOTS of pics/video with my camera. She has asked me to send her there again next year, if we are able. Some of her new friends asked that she return as well. It brings such joy to my heart to know that she had such a great first year at church camp. I wanted it to be a good experience for her, and it was. I've noticed too, that she is acting a bit more independent just being home the one day. I think it made her feel a little more grown up to be away from home for that long.  She's such a wonderful daughter. I love her so much.
