Last night's Grand Prix went great! We had a lot of fun watching all the kids race their cars....especially our own girls, of course. Our eldest raced her car twice before being eliminated. However, they already started the winners circle eliminations before my other daughter even got to race once...which I didn't understand. How can you have the start of the final race of winners before everyone had gone once? Oh well...I wasn't in charge of it, so can't really do anything about it. The girls had a great time though, and so did we. I videotaped it all. However, I can't upload it here cause the file is too big. I'll try and post a still pic from the racing though sometime. The girls are still enjoying their cars, as I woke up this morning to them having 'races' in our kitchen. lol!! In other news....I read Foxnews in the middle of the night (yeah...I was up again. lol!). They ran an article about the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC). Evidently, Senator Boxer is trying to push this through as soon as March 23rd! She has the backing of two others on the Hill...one of which is Hillary Clinton (bleck!!). Anywhooo..I forwarded it to all in my address book so there was a heads up on the issue for those that may not read/watch Foxnews. I also emailed Glenn Beck of Foxnews...one of my very favorites to watch on there. I asked him to please air the subject on his show sometime very soon to make the nation's parents aware of the situation. I was hoping and praying that others would also write him about it. Then, just a few minutes ago (11:30 am), I received an email from ParentalRights.org urging all its members to write Glenn Beck for the same reason!! How awesome is that?! They were thinking the same thing as me!!! Wow...God's awesome. |
