A Day in the Life...
Apr. 22, 2009
Dolphin Camp
My oldest has a very big interest in working with dolphins when she's older. She has been doing a LOT of looking up about dolphins on the net, at the library, etc. While dinkin' around on the net, she happened upon the Dolphin Research Center's website. On this site she found that they offer 'dolphin camp' to students of various ages! She REALLY wants to go. It's all the way down in the Florida Keys. This would be a terrific opportunity for her to get hands-on experience with them while she is still young and to decide if it's what she truly would like to do as an adult. Seeing as we aren't affluent, she will have to raise this money herself. So, we told her that we will pitch in as much as we are able, but that she will have to work for the rest. She is not old enough to get a regular job, so she is going to spend the summer mowing lawns. Hopefully, she will put a dent in the cost some, if she mows enough. Please pray for her endeavor and that she raises enough money this summer for camp next summer.

OH MY GOSH! Do NOT tell Jenna about that camp! lol

Anyway, to answer your ? from my blog - you can find Fels Naptha soap bars in the laundry isle. If you go to the Kroger in Troy it's up on a top shelf. If you find it and make the detergent let me know!

Wonderful goal! I do hope she gets enough to attend camp. It sounds wonderful.
