I know that a good deal of homeschoolers are aware of the threat the UNCRC poses to us American parents since HSLDA sends many of you updates regularly. However, I want to share a video to help get the word out, since some of you may not know that your parental freedoms are under attack.  The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC), if ratified by the United States, will supercede the Constitution on anything regarding children...how they are raised, educated, disciplined, etc. Even if you have a different view on how your children should be raised/educated, if the government thinks otherwise then they will be able to step in and change it under the UNCRC and you will have NO CONTROL over it. Please watch this video and share it with as many people as possible. We must get the word out! ( remember to stop the sound on my playlist before viewing!)

Don't you just LOVE Mike Farris? He's as sharp as a tack & I'm glad he's on OUR side! If you ever get a chance, read his 3 fiction books, they're actually a series. AWESOME! I used to talk to him every Tuesday night on Crosswalk.com's chat. There were about 10 of us who used to "meet" about 10p.m. on Tuesday nights on their Homeschool Chat. It was so much fun. He sent all of us his Constitutional Law curriculum - autographed, once! WAY cool!

Glad you like my little herb/kitchen garden. I'm excited about my cucumbers. LOVE your idea about cukes & feta cheese - goat cheese (basically the same thing) would be great, too. :-P
