headcovering

I have been headcovering for almost 10 years.  I do not think about it like I use to. It still reminds me to be submissive and know God is watching me. I use to know people who head-cover but no longer do. It was interesting the other day to run into a young couple in a restaurant who headcovers.  They came over on their way out and chatted for a few minutes. It was fun and encouraging to meet people who share our beliefs.

thanks for posting to my blog!! I added you to my friends list so I can visit your blog often. I read most of your posts and am not really understanding much yet about your family. I do get the head covering thing though my husband and I do not feel it neccessary for me. I do appreciate modest dressing and decency of all kinds! I am glad to have met you. I will visit again soon.

You know, I've wondered about headcovering. I've certainly read about it in the Bible and wondered why churches don't seem to practice it any more... No one in our church does, and our church is pretty conservative. I admire you, I really do. I don't have enough guts to stand out from the crowd and do my own thing. (Maybe someday...)
