Hi everyone...
I secretly escaped getting the house ready for home church to come blog. We have home church at our house today and expect about 15-18 kids. We have been home churching for the past 4 months and it has been really good. I feel like I have grown so much spiritually ever since we left "regular" church. I always felt so busy with all the programs and such that a church offers. You know you feel like you have to be at every single one of them. Especially if it is a small church. Then the kids get upset if you do not go!! I feel so much more at peace not having to feel like I have to be at every church function. What a release. The kid's have been so much more peaceful as well. We have MORE time to spend as a family and learn and grow together in Christ. The Lord just amazes me.... He has brought me through so much, and I am so thankful for my trials. He is definately killing my flesh. I rejoice with each and every trial I go through, because I know He allowed it and it is for my own good. However, I did not say I "enjoy" it. But I do rejoice in it.
I just love reading other blogs.. I have been so blessed by many of them!! I will "talk" to you guys later.
I pray the Lord will give you peace and joy today.
Love, Jennifer

It is so great to have another "home churcher" here. We also have been very blessed by our home church and how it has deepened our walk with the LORD. I look forward to reading more of your posts. : )

So glad you put me as a 'friend' on your blog.
I sometimes wonder if the Lord may be in the process of leading us to home-church. I practically do this already with my 2 smallest at the moment due to their ages (3 and 1), while my husband takes the 3 oldest to a church we've been attending for a few months. (We had attended our previous church for over 15 years.)
I look forward to reading here.
Love in Jesus,
Belinda
PS: Praise God for delivering your husband's addiction. The Lord seems to be teaching me alot latley about 'forgiving yourself' and 'receiving His forgiveness' in the true/deep sense that He wants to give that freedom to us!
