Twas The Night Before Christmas By: Clement Clarke Moore
I went looking for some material on this particular book and was inspired to make a lapbook for it. I even went through the trouble of making one in color and on in black and white.
I'll leave the arrangement to you, since most of us don't do the entire thing. I know I just pick and choose and place wherever.
Here is a picture of the one I printed out in black & white (Don't look too hard, it's pink). It's unfinished, due to we haven't started it yet.

In Case you don't have a copy of the book, these are links to other sites with the story to print or download. I'm going to print out the mini-book and let her color it in. Then, maybe make a pocket or something to attach it to the backside.

Here is the lapbook revamped over on the Homeschool Share Site. I got to say Ann-Marie Seiler did a ton of work on it. You should check it out. Especially if you haven't printed it yet, I kinda like some of her pages better.

I have all the images for each particular piece individualized, so you can do the mix-and-match, based on your color wants. Here is the page that hosts ALL the images in thumbnail. They are listed under each book also.
FYI: When you get to the page with the image, it may be smaller than normal. I'm not sure if that is just my computer/firefox. I had to click on the picture with the mouse and it got larger. When you go to ‘print preview' or ‘copy and paste' it into ‘paint', it will be 8" x 11".
Here it goes.....
Sugar-Plum Match Up Game - This is a typical flip-over the cards and get a match type game. Print 2 of the pictures on cardstock. Print 1 of the pockets on cardstock.

Vocabulary - There are numerous ways to do this one. 1. You can print the pictures and words and let them match those. 2. Print the pictures and blanks and let them either write the words or definitions. 3. Print the words and have them draw pictures. 4. Or, just print blanks and make your own. You choose the ones you want. Print 1 of each on cardstock.

Letter to Santa - No brainer, here. Have your kids write a letter to the famous man himself. You'll get an idea of what they are wanting and they are learning tons of stuff. IE: letter writing, penmanship, addressing an envelope. I'm using a regular size envelope to place mine in. I'll have my child address the envelope to Santa at his address and put her return address on it. Glue the envelope flap down to your lapbook page. That way, you can flip it around and see the front. Print 1 page on regular paper.

Reindeer Round-Up - Place the reindeer in alphabetical order. I thought about having my child glue these down on her lapbook in order, instead of using the cards. I'll let you choose what paper to print on. For the cards, print 1 of on cardstock. To glue down, print one of the picture pages on regular paper.
