We have just finished our first unit for Human Anatomy.  The first unit was on Life Systems (Cells, Tissues, Organs and Systems). 

              ·        Described basic structure and function of cells (to review

                        this we played a bingo game that I created.)

                 ·        First lab ~ 3-D model of a cell

·        They Researched Robert Hooke

Lab ~ Build a microscope and look at onion cells

·     Cell Reproduction:  Mitosis

Lab ~ Mitosis used hands to tell the story and acted it out.

·        Cellular Activities

Movement of material – diffusion (semi-permeable)

Chemical reactions – osmosis (photosynthesis)
