This has got to be the longest winter in history! I have long grown tired of the snow and am chomping at the bit to get outside and get yard work done. Spring has given hints that it is arriving a day here and there with temps above 30. Then winter gets mad and says nope I'm still here and drops more snow and temps drop below 30 for a few days.

But I am looking forward to the flowers and grass ( if I have any ) green leaves on the tree. The sound of children yelling and playing and running thru the yard. I can hardly wait to get my hands in the dirt and baby my plants and watch them grow. To feel the warm sun on my shoulders and face. And wonder if my 5 yo will finally recognize those little wiggly things in the dirt as worms or will he still go running thinking snake. LOL

I'm looking forward to enjoying God's creation while camping with the kids. Sitting around a campfire roasting those lallos. (marshmallows or as my 7 yo calls them mushmellows) gazing at the stars. The many many wonders that God has given to us to enjoy. Maybe I can even get the 4 yo ( turned 4 today) to try his hand at fishing this year.

Looking forward to getting more of the house remodeled. Got the new school room done, kitchen is next and will get torn out in a couple of weeks. I have been wanting that kitchen done since moving into this house 11 yrs ago.

Spring is a time for new birth, new growth, refreshing one's self and our surroundings. And I am looking forward to all of it with great excitement!
