We chose konos because we want our family to enjoy learning together as a family. Konos provides a fun way for multi age levels to learn by hands on activities at the same time. We get to choose the books we use to learn from. We use fun books, easy reading books, living books, computer, video, and audio recordings. I still see my kids faces light up with wonder and excitement as they did as toddlers when they discover something new. We highly recommend for all learning styles. We will soon post our favorite links, projects and pics of our units.
Hello all in blog land! I am excited to have a place for our family to share about our homeschool and family. I hope to get the hang of this soon. I am happily married to my highschool sweetheart and mother of our three boys and a girl. We are blessed to live in St. Petersburg, Florida. It is a very homeschool friendly state. We use a mix of unit study and Charlotte Mason approaches. As I figure out how to manage the blog I will add to it. We want to share with others the joy of being home together loving, learning, and laughing. "G" not only stands for Guerra (our last name) but also for "God". we were inspired to name our school this after a visit to Kennedy Space Center.
