Apr. 14, 2009 - What We Are Reading AND The Contest!!!!!!!
We go all through Winter and not one of us gets sick. Now Spring is here and Jackson has been sick since Fridy afternoon. School has been limited BUT we did get lots of reading done. This is what we are reading this week. We finished, G.A. Henty's, Young Carthiginian,which was an excellent book.which we were trying to get finished before we started our Civil War study, but it did not work out that way. We read in Stories of the Civil War and The Testimony of Charlie Coulson.
  
If you have never read a G.A. Henty book, I encourage you to. They are wonderful,rich historical novels that we love to read at our house.
