• May. 9, 2008 - Now coaching
Monday I started coaching swimming again and I must say, I am worn out! The boys and I are trying to get used to the new schedule. We have to really focus in the mornings to get the work done so we can leave in the early afternoon. We are at the pool for about 4 hours with the prep and clean up work. I think it will be a fun summer. All the boys are enjoying it so far. LV doesn't want to compete, which is fine with me. But at least he is getting some regular exercise. And there has been a noticeable increase in the amount of food these guys have eaten this week!
Tomorrow is the Parade and Picnic, which means a busy day for the family. The boys and H are on the cub scout float and I am on the swim team float! That means my parents are responsible for catching candy this year! Then we head to the park for the community picnic where there are games, races, and food. Later in the afternoon the pool is open for free swim. Of course the boys can't wait for that! And it should be a beautiful day!
At this point, I am looking forward to a relaxing Sunday.
I almost forgot! Little D turned 7 yesterday! So hard to believe! He is 7 years old, has yet to loose his 1st tooth (he has 2 that are loose), and weighs in at a whopping 37.5 lbs! And I must add, he is adorable as can be. |
