As Life Goes On

• Dec. 11, 2008 - Dec. 10th

Another crazy Wed.  I had a nail appointment, then it was off to the library.  I checked out an illustrated copy of A Christmas Carol, so I want to start reading that to the boys.  I think they will enjoy it.

Then it was choir and church.  Pastor Sam is teaching a 4 part series out of Luke og the events leading up to Christ's birth.  It amazes me to think of what Mary went through to be the chosen one to carry God's Son.  It wasn't considered a good thing by the people, and it even took an angel to convince Joseph.  She suffered a lot of rejection and judgment.  But she was willing.  Would I have been?

I managed to finish the Hershey's Kisses advent countdown ribbons done for the boys.  They should have been done by the 1st, but as usual I procrastinated.  They just take so stinkin'  long to do!  But if you wait until the 10th you only have to sew on 42 Kisses as opposed to 72!    Oh well.  I can cross that off my to-do list.
