As Life Goes On

• Dec. 12, 2008 - Dec. 11th

The boys enjoyed their Kisses from their countdown ribbons today!  And we started reading "A Christmas Carol."  I enjoyed it, and I think they did too.  They seemed to.

I had my 1st trimester homeschool meeting to turn in their work.  I love going to Shelli's house every year.  It is always decorated so well.  Her family doesn't have a Christmas tree.  They have a bunch of Christmas trees.  They make it feel like you are in the woods!  I love it!  If we ever had enough room to do that, I would be all over it, and I think LV would be right there with me helping to set it all up.  I should have taken my camera to get a picture, but I left it sitting here at home.  Oh well!

The boys spent the evening with my dad, so I think they watched a couple of movies.  I know they watched one of their favorite videos, Victor Borge.  It makes me so happy to know they find him so entertaining.  Oh!  And LV found a book on tape cassette  at my parents house that belongs to the library.  It has been missing for 4 months, and I was figuring we would be paying for it in Feb.  But praise the Lord, LV found it and we will turn it in this week!  Hooray!
