Welcome to my brain-notebook! I am a 17 yr-old Christian girl who loves being at home and serving her family. I am interested in homemaking, homeschooling, illustrating children's books, drawing, painting, writing, singing, playing the piano, crocheting, working/playing outside, and enjoying life to its fullest. I love studying History, art, music, biology, and, well. . . everything! Some of my long-term goals are becoming a godly woman, getting married and raising a godly family, illustrating children's books, and maybe even writing a few books! I hope you enjoy your visit at my blog!
"For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory." - Colossians 3:3-4

Adolphe-William Bougeureau is one of my favorite artists. He was born on Nov. 30, 1825, on the Atlantic coast of France. He showed great talent and skill at drawing from a young age, and his parents were eventually persuaded to send him to Ecole des Beaux Arts (a grand art school in France).
He continued to paint his entire life producing hundred of pieces. His portraits of peasant girls and shepherdesses are some of the most beloved art work of the 19th century. He died in 1905 at 80 years of age.
(Many of his works contain immodest subject matter, so use discretion while searching him on the web.)
I've wanted to learn more about this artist for some time and finally decided to do research and discovered many of his paintings I had already fallen in love with. I think I shall have to copy some of them in oils and watercolor for good practice and the delightful company of these girls!
