This week my youngest daughters and I will hopefully get around to trying two new "crafts". I have all the supplies to make lye soap and hope to get the camping kitchen set up outside so we can do this. (My husband doesn't want me to try this in the house). We also have some kits to make baskets. So I hope to get them made and see how hard they are. Next month, I am supposed to teach a class on basket making. I am excited about these two new endeavors.

I also need to get my garden planted this weekend. We are getting a late start, but have not had any opportunity to get it in sooner. Two weekends ago I had a ladies retreat and this past weekend my son's ship came in, so my weekends have been really busy. But this weekend is supposed to be in the 70's and perfect for planting.

I have a jumper cut out for my oldest daughter and want to try to get it finished. I also need to cut out a camisole and petticoat for her. I also have some fabric to make her a dress. I have a shirt and overalls cut out for my husband and want to get them completed for his birthday in July. (the overalls have been cut out for two years, so I guess it is about time to put them together).
