   Thanksgiving Trip

We decided at the very last minute to surprise my mom by coming to visit over Thanksgiving.  The drive there was a nightmare, taking 14+ hours instead of the expected 10.  The weather was rainy and there were accidents all over - a couple that we could have easily been involved in, had I not had to make so many potty stops! (I should have skipped the Metformin that day!)

We enjoyed our trip.  It was the first time we had been to my mom and stepdad's house in Oregon.  Here are a few pictures from Multnomah Falls.  (That's Alyssa, my mom and Pete)

Our trip home was less eventful, although Alyssa did cry a good portion of the way!  It brought back memories of her being much smaller.  She used to HATE riding in the car, even as an infant.
