Come, come--husbands and wives,
Come children, brothers and sisters, likewise.
Now come and sit, every one--to hear
The tale I soon shall relate to thee, with harp and liar!
Of Faeoras and her mighty warriors.
Of the son of Daemon--Lord of Talcliors--
Sir Cedric, great hero of Faeoras.
And of Jedrek, who hath saved every one of us!
