The Traveling Iditarod Quilt
You can find out all about past projects here:

This is our quilt!

We numbered each square and wrote a letter to the group in Alaska that will receive our quilt telling about each photo.
This kicks off our Iditarod Unit study. We are doing a mpa activity and choosing our mushers that we will follow during the race today!

Hi - thanks for stopping by my blog. We still haven't seen any birds at our feeder?! Too bad, we also got all geared up.
Your unit study looks fun! What an interesting topic to study. Have fun!

Are you on the e-iditarod e-loop? I am, but I am just not sure I am going to get to an Iditarod study this year. We did that last year though, and it was a ton of fun.

HI Melissa,
We did enjoy Core B. We added math, manners, and reading to it, though. Otherwise, it was too short for us. I plan on keeping the books for our personal library. Most are too good to give away right now. The boys will enjoy them for a long time.

How cool. I have a homeschool friend who lives in Alaska who really gets into the Iditarod. In fact, I'll be meeting her in Dallas in 2 days, where she'll make us all watch the iditarod! LOL
Thanks for stopping by my blog. That was a picture of my son in his bedroom. If you look at my categories in the right column, and click quilts, the second entry down shows more of his room. ;)
Blessings,
Laurie
