Our day with the crickets!

We are up to the letter c on our alphabugs lapbook.  We colored lots of cricket coloring pages, did a seek in find page, and read our library books on crickets.  One was really neat!  It was The Quiet Cricket by Eric Carle and on the last page when you opened it you could hear a chirping cricket!

If you want to make your our insect lapbooks my ideas are coming from here:

Jul. 3, 2008 - hello again

How fun! I've only recently done lapbooking - a dear friend of mine has a website dedicated to lapbooking and related items (www.homeschoolshare.com). I remember checking out Eric Carle's books from the library when I was younger.

Yes, the stories of your children's names are much more interesting then just looking at a name book! Thank you for sharing the stories, it's always sweet to hear of names being passed through generations. :)

I'm very glad we were able to give our dog a happy home, the Lord really blessed us through him.

May I add you to my friend's list?

God Bless,
Miss Emily Rose
