Kynan wrote about his family this week. he used the same little notebook that he'd picked up and written in at granny's almost a year ago.  he gave each family member a page of writing accompanied by a cute picture of them opposite.  he wrote about one family member per day. each write-up and picture took him 30-40min to do)  no changes made.

My name is Kynan. I am 6 years old.  I like to rollerblade and ride my bike. I also like to skateboard. I like horses and monkeys.  If I were a monkey, I would swing in the trees. My favourite foods are bacon and pot-noodles.   (***i dont make pot-noodles by the way ;) ...he steals his daddy's!***)

My Dad

My Dad's name is *. He is * years old. He likes to read newspapers in the morning. He likes to eat pot-noodles and fish curry with prata. He likes to swing me around by my hands. It's fun!!

My Sister

My sister's name is *. She is 4 years old. She likes to bikeride and rollerblade. Her favourite animal is a pony. Her favourite colour is orange. She doesnt like mashed potato and she's scared of snakes

My Mum

My Mums name is *, She is * years old. She likes to watch reality shows when every one is a sleep.  She also teaches us homeschool in the day time. She gives us baths and reads us stories. She lies with me before I sleep. I like it and it makes me feel happy."
