last week was letter Pp:

-for pancakes, popcorn, pirates and princesses.

-we made e 1st 2 and the whole family enjoyed the fruits of their labours. (waited for ky to get back from school so he didnt miss out! :)) served the mini-pancakes with an asstmnt of honey, choc spread, or just plain marg.

-dressed up as the 2nd 2 for ky's b'day. made pirate eye-patches, maps, and had a party!

-played pin-e-patch on e pirate, using a pirates "wanted" poster stuck on a tree.

-decorated a pirate picture with colourful fabrics and beads.

this week is letter Nn:

-for nurse, nest, noodles and numbers.

-dress up as a nurse and take care of sick patients.  learn how to use a thermometer, put on a bandage, and call 911. use a syringe to suck up specific quantities of coloured water or juice 'meds'.

-paint with water-filled syringes on the corridor walls.

-make a 'nest' using found grasses, twigs and leaves, and place in our plants for decoration.

-learn to cook and serve noodles.

-practice writing numbers 1-20.

-paint a nurse picture.
