Debate...again
Hey everyone! I'm doing pretty good, huh? 2 posts in a little over 2 weeks . Debate season is in full gear, I'm getting ready for one more qualifying tournament, then it's off to the Region IV Invitational at the end of April. So, with that in mind, for anyone who is interested (and I mean anyone), Maisano/Morgan's affirmative case is online--ready for some input.
Now, whether you're in debate, you're a parent, or you have no idea what in the world I'm talking about, we would LOVE to get your feedback on our case. So run over to The Brian Factor and please leave lots of comments with your thoughts. If you use it to find some killer piece of evidence against it, we'd ask that you be kind enough to post it. Same goes for arguments you think up--please share them. Fair enough?
Thanks in advance!

Here are a bunch of incomplete thoughts... ;-)
If you can convince your judge that foreign Aid is the “easy way out” of a situation (and more importantly convince them that the easy way out of a situation is bad), and list problems from pursuing the easy way out. The fish thing! and while your on fish... bring in the sharks :-).
French-fries and greasy foods have contributed to countless peoples death, and much more subtly than more dangerous “in appearance” things...such as sharks.
Change is work.
Potential energy... the higher you are the future you have to fall.
Questions: what is more dangerous, a French fry or a shark? What makes unseen danger less dangerous than seen danger?
Potential and kinetic energy
Cause and effect
Everything is in a degenerative pattern
Under point 6. Advantages. Someone may bring up the economic crisis and say that if you have nothing to invest your money into after your plan is in motion it’s worthless firstly because of inflation ect.
Going of the point of “long term responsibility”, and if Foreign aid to India is as dangerous as the french fry, I don’t think the argument can be refuted that the aid is bad.
I think your Case rests on if aid is irresponsible, I don’t remember people in the rounds I watched saying that is “was” responsible.
1. responsibility ( there are consequences for our actions) the easy way out is like fast food( link that to the French fry and sharks) if you take it enough you’ll have a heart attack.. Also when you correct a a bad diet, begin to exercise, it hurts a lot at first.
2. Change is work (the abolition of the slave trade...William Wilberforce )
(I don’t remember what I was thinking here or how this connected, but here it is anyway)An idea for a “branch off” case is a case that monitors
Hullo!
