Here is something fun to try - Menu Plan Monday sponsored by Organized Junkie. If you go to her site, you'll get to see a ton of other bloggers and what they are eating this week. Its a great way to break a menu rut as I have been in recently. Here's what's on the menu for the rest of the week. Mon - Apricot Honey Chicken, green salad and roll Tues - Leftovers Wed - Turkey - yes, I'm baking a big turkey. Gravy, mashed potatoes and corn Thurs - Hot Turkey Sandwiches Fri - Meatloaf. Making a few and freezing them. I do my menu and grocery planning on Thursdays, so I only have enough planning left to account through Friday. I am going to try and make my menu planning this week a bit healthier. I have been bringing too much junk into the house and I haven't been planning things out as well, which has resulted in me gaining 2 pounds this week. I am mad about it but what can you do? Its done, so time to kick myself back into action. I haven't lost any weight in a few months anyhow, so I'd like to work on another 10 pounds. No time like the present. Janelle |
