The chrstmas play went very well. The very wild shepherds did not realy act up and the Wise Men were SO CUTE! The little angles were cute, too. I'm so happy everything went okay!

In school we are talking about "A Christmas Carol". I am enjoying it. We made a Scrooge, Bob Cratchit, Tiny Tim, The Ghost of Xmas Past, Ghost of Xmas Present, Ghost of Xmas Yet to Come, James Marley, and Mrs. Cratchit. They are so cute! I will put a pic on someday of it.

We had a game night at the church to raise money of the next OshKosh in 2014! We raised $80 and had a fun time too. After we helped set up for the Xmas play. It looks so cute. I can't wait!

Math for a change was very easy! In school this week we are going to study about chocolate. Yummy! I hope we get to eat some. I have been playing my violin this week, working on the song "The First Noel". It is going okay. This Christmas I am going to be Gabriel, the Angel in a christmas play. Fun, Fun!

Thanksgiving!

     I had a wonderful sabbath and weekend. We babysat yesterday and I had a good time even if the oldest is 7 yr. younger than I am. We played Build-A-Bear Workshop, played doll house, read my fav. Thanksgiving story, watched "Alvin and the Chipmunks", and after they left we watched "Up". It was a cute movie.
      This Thanksgiving we are having church folk over. I can't wait because our best friends are going to come and we have not seen them for over a month. For the pat 2 years we have celebrated with them and I thought we might not be able to do that this year.
     I need to go and play with Broki. Hope to write soon but with Thanksgiving come in up, who knows! Oh, and if I don't get to tell you later,

Not much has happened over the week. Busy with school and caring for Broki. She is sleeping right now but will be up soon. I love her so much but sometimes i get so tired of caring for her! But then I see her sweet face and forget all the trouble she is. She is my little baby that I love so very much

School is going. I hate math, but most of the other stuff we do is fun. History is my fav. sub. and we are learning about the middle ages. Right now we are learning about Arabia.
The Boys are playing on the PC up in Jack-Jack's room, but I have the Mac. Yes! I love doing things on Mom's Mac. I wish I had one, but I am saving up for a SLR camera. I so want to buy one now, but I don't have the money

It looks like it might rain here. Hope not because Adventures is tonight. We need to go over drill. I guess if we have to we can do it inside.

This weekend was the fall festival! It was so much fun. We had a pie-in-the-face contest. To vote you put money in a box with our church elders and pastor names on it. My dad won with $230 in his box. Our pastor came in 2nd with $80. The other 2 elders had $60 in each of their boxes. We had a hay ride, jump house and slide, face painting, food, and a cake auction! I can't wait until next year!

A Day in the Life of a Bird-essay written for MyAccess Home Edition

I live in New York City on the 34th floor of a 100-story brick apartment building with my mom and dad. It is right next to Central Park so there are many of birds around.

The day before my bird experience I had seen a small birds nest on my windowsill. I had not seen a bird in the nest and could not wait to see what kind of bird it was. I love birds!

Now you should know that I'm not the kind of person that makes things up. I stick to the facts, but by the time I'm done with my story you will probable think I'm a liar. That's to bad because this is 100true story!

The day started out like all other days. I could hear the sounds of New York and smell my mother's fresh bread but this was no normal day! As I fully woke up I saw I was not in my bed but in a very hard and prickly nest 340 feet above the ground!

The first thing I did was scream, but all that came out of my mouth was a clear majestic birdcall. So I screamed some more. As I stopped screaming I looked in to the window to see my reflection. Then I was really surprised. I was a red, white, and blue bird with a sharp multi-colored beak!

So I screamed a little bit more and finely I got my self under control. Then came the big question, how in the world was I going to get out of this very weird situation!

I decided that I was going to have to get into the building. That was when I remembered that birds could fly. I slowly inched my way to the edge of the nest. I closed my eyes and jumped out of the nest. At first I thought I was dead. I mean I did not even really understand how planes fly so how was I supposed to know how to fly. As I plummeted to the earth I tried to flap my wings and then BOOM, I was flying! It felt so good to feel the wind carrying me.

As soon as you can say bird I was headed to the entrance of the building. I stopped at a light post to wait for someone to open the door. I had not long to wait because up walk a very short lady with a huge hat and 2 tiny yappy dogs. I slowly swooped down to the lady's hat and waited. As she walked thru the doors her dogs saw me, and they started to bark up a storm as we entered the lobby. The lady then stooped down to try to quiet the dogs, but the dog had other plans. They jumped up onto her hat as I made a quick escape. The lady let out the biggest yelp I have ever heard. I decided that I should get out of there a quick as I could.

I then headed to the elevator. I saw a family of 4 just going in to it and just as the doors were closing I mad it in there. The family was just going to the seventeenth floor so as they left I hit the 34th floor button with all my might and that is when it worked. It seemed like forever before it came to my floor.

As the elevator door opened, I made a beeline to my door. I rang the doorbell and my mother came to the door. Then I swooped around my mom that was still at the door trying to figure out who had just rung the doorbell. Flying right to my bedroom I perched on my bed before diving into the covers. As I closed my eyes I hoped that when I wake up I would be a human again.

I woke that next day to the honk of cars and the buzz of people and could smell my mothers cooking. I smiled at myself. "Mom, you will not believe what dream I had!" I yelled but all that came out of my mouth was a loud bark! Now I was a dog!

9-27-09

Have been playing with the boys and Broki today. Right now Broki is running around the yard at top speed. Silly girl! Also her ears are standing up!!!!! She looks like Dumbo! They are so big on her head! I hope to put a photo of her with her ears up soon! I can't believe the Detroit lions won after not winning a game after 19 games!!!!! But, the real show will be tomorrow night! The Carolina Panthers and the Dallas Cowboys are playing. My dad wants the Cowboys to win, but Dash wants the Panthers to win. I'm not sure who I want to win. The boys are playing football and I guess I will join them. Will write soon!

     My 14th birthday was Sunday. I got a violin (and I will post pic. of that soon). I need to put on pic of Osh Kosh, too.
   Broki has been a sweet girl for the last few days. She has not nipped at us as much as she sometimes dose. She is right now playing with "Green Chewy" (her green rope toy) and is enjoying that. She is such a cutie!
     We went camping this past weekend. Broki came too and enjoyed getting to be with us 24 hours a day. Two of my best friends came, too. It was fun.
