I ran into an article debating the best title for what my "job" is. My dear husband while he values my being at home, doesn't get what it is I do. The title housewife, is fun and evokes images of Samantha from bewitched in my head. I like the title homemaker better because it gives me an ideal to strive twards. But really what I do is better discribed by HRO (Home Relationship Officer). I feel like the biggest part of my job is being a tharapist. I belive there is an art to what we, HRO's do. Reading the mood of the situation, and what needs are most pressing in the family at any given moment. Home because thats the ideal a lovely place where all members can find tranquility. Relationship because its all about providing the family memebers with the tools they need for the outside world. Officer because we have to be an authrity on the needs of the family. What do you guys think?
