Muslim Okie in the West

• Monday 20 July 2009 - So far so good! Alhumdulillah!

O my gosh! Today is going so well! Alhumduillah! All my hard work of pre is paying off i think. Right now he is playing in a tub of split peas (dried of c ourse) which goes with unit theme. This week we are reading George and Martha Split Pea Soup. Also Miss Bendergarten Gets Ready for Kindergarten. He likes both the stories. I only have this unit planned completely out. As in daily lesson plans so I need to work on all the rest but I am really liking this.
Yesterday I started moving the "class room" from the dinning room to the Boy's room and I wasn't finished until 3:30 this morning but some of that time was filing lesson plans for the futer, gathering all the materials for this week and what not.
I didn't think i'd have time to cook today but it looks like I will! Inashallah.
