How fast does the principle of sowing and reaping take anyway, I wondered as I waited in a line at Walmart, which was taking forever.  That morning I had let a feeble man go before me in a bank teller line that was also taking a long time.  I told myself to stop thinking that way because knowing the Lord, He would make sure someone gave me a place ahead of fthem in line and I would not want them to go out of their way.  Just as I thought that, the man in front of me said, please go in front of me.  I said no, I'll just put these things on the counter, but I'm not in any hurry.  But he insisted until I had to go in front of him.  Now I know how long it takes to receive after we  have given.  Not very long at all!
