This may sound kooky but I;'m goiing to say it anyway. I spent the last 15 minutes in the movie, National Treasre, praying earnestly because of a scene that reminded me of Ezekiel 47. A river flowed from a thone of grace (albeit a pagan one in the movie) and rose quickly above their heads. To me it was a symbol of God pouriing out His Spirit until it becomes a raging river that flows directly from His throne. I began weeping for God to pour out on us in such a way.
I live in the Southeast, in an area that has suffered drought for some time. I believe this is the dry spell before breakthrough. When God's grace comes, we will have an abundance of rain. Spiritually, He will pour out on us abundantly His Holy Spirit. I yearn for a raging river to flow from His throne of grace.
In a recent dream, I saw a river of water flooding out from under the door of our homeschool coop building. I had been walking in with a girl whose last name is Cross. How symbolic, I thought, of walking with Him. Since coop has begun this year, more homeschool Moms seem hungrier for the Lord. I pray that this will be the next move of God across America!
The first National Treasure had me praying, too. The first time I watched the last part of that movie, I began praying for God's glory to fill us up the way the gold filled up the treasure rooms. Both movies have affected me spiritually because I felt their messages are prophetic signs of what God is about to pour out on us. He has storerooms of treasure He wishes to give us. He wants to give America National Treasure. He wants to fill us up with His glory. He wants to flood the streets of America with His Spirit. We need to get in the river and immerse ourselves completely. I am so hungry for more of Him. i am so thirsty! God, pour out on our land. Pour out on us! I pray a wave of repentance will sweep across this land as we cry out for more of Him! |
