My boys told us last night they were going to wait until 8 to come downstairs because there was something on TV they were going to watch first.  I couldn't believe they would actually watch TV before coning down to open presents.  But they hardly slept last night in anticipation for Christmas and were up bright and early.  I would have checked their temperatures if they had stayed upstairs till 8.

They loved their presents.  I even got a surprise.  My husband and I had exchanged presents earlier so I wasn't expecting anything but he gave me a basket of bath goodies. 

We went to my husband's parents for lunch.  Tomorrow we leave for my parents' house.  My husband is going on a hunting trip.  The car is packed and ready to go.

We have had a great day!  I have played a lot of games today.  The boys got The Game of Life, Carcassonne:  The Castle, and Connect Four.  We have been playing them a lot today.  But the boys got several wii games and have been playing them, too.  So it's been a gamey day.

One of the best presents was a puppy, but we got her a few weeks ago.  She loved the excitement this morning of torn paper and toys laying everywhere.  We are taking her back to her mommy while we go away this week.  I hope she doesn't miss us too much.  I know we will miss her.
