When I was a teenager, I walked away from God because I thought religion was a boring bunch of rules that were hard to follow.  What I discovered since then is that Christianity is the most exciting adventure one can have!  I am writing a book for teenagers about the supernatural power that comes through Jesus Christ.

Expect the Supernatural!

Behold, I and the children whom the Lord has given me are signs and wonders

[that are to take place] . . . Isaiah 8:18

            You are made for signs and wonders!  Because young people today crave the supernatural, every new release of Harry Potter’s magic has been #1 on The New York Times, USA Today, and Wall Street Journal bestseller lists, and to date there over 103 million books in print.  Not finding a supernatural experience through church life, teenagers are walking away by the droves.  Currently, seventy-five percent of young people walk away from church after leaving home.  In fact, there is a mass exodus of adults who are also leaving the Church because they find it dull and lifeless.

            In reality, the Christian experience is the most exciting journey anyone can embark! We have the power through Jesus Christ to transform the world!  Signs and wonders are not just for biblical times and third world countries.  Because the miraculous events that have been taking place since the book of Acts are rarely published and hard to find, Christians do not believe they can happen today.  Unbelief has caused the majority of Christians to believe their prayers are fruitless; God is going to do what He is going to do anyway.  This is simply not true!  In the last fifty years alone, more supernatural events and miraculous healings have occurred than are recorded in the entire Bible. 

            We are on the brink of witnessing a generation who will walk in a supernatural power that surpasses the first century apostles.  The hordes of hell, seeking to counterfeit the upcoming move of God, have infiltrated the media with movies, television shows, and books about psychic phenomenon, witchcraft, new age, and the occult, which have caused many to walk away from the confines of dead religion to pursue a more appealing supernatural life.  True supernatural power can only come through God, whose Son is Jesus Christ.  This power is available to those who are willing to walk as Jesus walked, in a lifestyle of purity and holiness, doing as He saw His Father doing in heaven.

            Since the book of Acts, miracles have continued to occur, proving that God is the same yesterday, today, and forever.  By dusting off tales from old history books and the Bible, retelling stories originally written for adults, and recording recent miraculous events, your eyes can be opened to the realm of the possible.  You can begin to see that walking as Jesus walked is truly the most exciting path.
