Yesterday afternoon, I had a conversation with a friend about how I had been holding a little grudge against God earlier.  I had been asking God why He didn't reveal the car behind me the other day.  Not seeing the car because of an enormous blind spot I was unaware of in my new SUV, I had backed into the car beside me as they were also backing out of a parking space.  I didn't even notice what was impeding my being able to pull out until I stepped out of my vehicle.  I told my friend about how God had spoken to me audibly one day when I was in my van about how my little boy was standing behind it.  It was so loud and clear that I put the car back in park, shut off the ignition and got out of the car.  When  I called my son's name, asking if he was behind my car, he said yes.

Last night, I watched the Prince Caspian movie, which is very good, by the way.  In it, Lucy asked Aslan why he didn't come and rescue them the way he had done before.  Aslan said nothing happens the same way twice.

That spoke to my heart.  It was a direct answer to what I had been asking God.  It is also a lesson for the Church.  God doesn't move in the same way every day.  He is always doing a different move.  He is always moving His Church higher, so they can attain the full stature of His Son, Jesus Christ. 

I heard a senior prophet of the Lord speak the other night about the different moves of God.  Bob Jones spoke at the Florida Outpouring about the moves of God over the past 60 years.

In the 1950's, God restored the miracle working ministry back to the church.

In the 1960's, through the Charismatic movement, He restored the Holy Spirit.

In the 1970's, God restored the teaching ministry.

In the 1980's, He restored the Prophetic ministry.

In the 1990's, He restored governmental perfection.

In the 2000's, He is restoring His manifest Presence among His people.

In 2010, we will see love and unity begin to surface among the Body of Christ as we have never seen before.  He said the Church is going to become so glorious that anyone who comes in contact with one of the body of Christ will be healed, delivered, and confessing to Jesus because of His manifest glory.  The latter church will be better than the former church.  Aslan is on the move!!!

He spoke about the different movements through 2060.  He said not to get ready to go anytime soon because He has seen the next 50 or so years.  He also said those in their 50's can expect to live until they are 120.  Once before, Bob Jones said our children live in a time when they never have to die.  We are that close to the end times.

Expect, Expect, Expect - but don't expect the old things to keep happening!  Expect a new thing!  It is a new dawn on the horizon.  New mercies every morning!  While God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow, He doesn't keep operating in the same old rut!
