In a book called Releasing the Prophetic Destiny of a Nation, by Chuck Pierce and Dutch Sheets, are recorded strategic prayers and prophetic declarations and decrees in 2003-2004, which began an open season of warfare against the principalities and powers entrenched in every state.

            Published in 2005, the fulfillment of many of the words, releasing the prophetic destinies of all 50 states, is coming to pass.  For example, they prophesied a shaking in Lakeland with a new anointing that would come.  Here is what Chuck Pierce said about Lakeland during his visit on February 14-15, 2003.  At that time, it was prophesied that "Florida is a forerunner state - forerunning in the purposes of God, forerunning in revival, forerunning in destiny - for the nation.  The following quote has been taken from page 171 of Releasing the Prophetic Destiny of a Nation:

“You have been halted between two opinions.  But the halt has ended this night.  Will My people rise up and move forward to the next level of conflict?  I have come with a sword to break the religious war over the state  There is a shaking in Lakeland.  A new anointing is about to come.  From that place where opinions of man have been released, the opinions are now stopping.  Watch, for I am doing a new thing.  In the midst of Lakeland, My waters will spread across the state."

These words are being fulfilled in 2008 with the Florida Outpouring Revival, currently taking place in Lakeland, Florida.  All one has to do is google "Todd Bentley" to see that battle lines are drawn.  So many harsh criticisms and accusations have been made against him by brothers and sisters in Christ!  Yet thousands have testified of the wonderful blessings they have received as a result of the Florida Outpouring.

The following words were also taken from page 172 of Releasing the Prophetic Destiny of a Nation:

"I put the mantle on you, used by Me for the sake of the nation.  I am setting you on a 14-month course so deliverance breaks forth and the aroma of deliverance permeates the nation..  There is a war mantle on you.  Stand in the place of victory.  Break down the structures that oppose you.  Line upon line.  A gift I have thrown to you and this nation for war."

Todd Bentley is the conduit God used to do what was prophesied in 2003.  Obedient to God, Todd left his country, home, and ministry to hold revival meetings in Florida.  Our country has paid their respects to him in a shameless way!  Todd Bentley needs  our prayers!  As he looks to Jesus Christ, he will be comforted in this time of suffering for His name sake, but it is right for us to pray. 

Nita Johnson, founder and president of World for Jesus Ministries, Inc., says it best:

It is never good to look too much to man as everyone is fallible. Look to Jesus and become a student of the Word. Pray for His chosen vessels and don’t lift them up beyond what is healthy. If we do these things, God’s ministers will endure being used by Him and we will not fail them if they fail. We as well are all clay vessels, and need your prayers more than we may tell you. Therefore, in this case, pray for Todd Bentley. He is a son of the Church and therefore our spiritual charge. God will hold us accountable for this instruction.

Pray also for the division that has arisen in the body of Christ.  Jesus said He came with a sword to divide.  He is going deep, shaking what needs to be shaken, to perfect His Church so we can resemble Him.

Years ago, it was prophesied by David Demian, Director of Watchmen for the Nations, that Canada would release healing to the nations.  The Canadian flag, bearing a maple leaf, was seen as a prophetic point-of-reference that tied to two Scriptures, "The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations" from Revelation and from Ezekiel, "their leaves for healing".  (taken from Kathy Thorne's email entitled "Lakeland Outpouring Editorial:  Who Would Have Ever Thought - Part Two.

I am thankful to God that He is releasing healing to the nations.  Anyone who has been afflicted with any kind of ailment and is suddenly healed understands God's loving kindness and mercy.  The Lord is not coming for a bride who is laying on a sickbed.  He is coming for a victorious bride, without spot or wrinkle, who has overcome the afflictions of this world.  Bless Todd Bentley for being God's conduit to release healing to the nations.  Over a hundred nations have been present at the nightly meetings in Lakeland, FL.
