Last night, I was walking through my small neighborhood praying as I went. A neighbor at the end of the street stopped me to tell me about a stranger who had walked purposefully through our neighborhood; he must have cut through my driveway, the only opening on the other end of the street. She didn't have a good feeling about him. I didn't see him as I made a circle, but I saw another neighbor who told me she had just seen a strange person who suddenly disappeared. She thought he must have gone into the woods between the road and our neighborhood.
I told my husband about it and he went out to look around. I had to pick up my son from Boy Scouts. When I returned, my husband told me he had caught the guy hiding in the bushes between our house and next door. When confronted, he said he was waiting for someone. For two hours, he had been hiding out at the end of a dead-end street of a tiny neighborhood of nine houses. Discovered, the guy left. The whole incident was just too weird! |
