For science, my children and I constructed a DNA strand, which looked like a spiral ladder. A curious thought came to me. Did sin warp that DNA strand so it is now twisted. I thought how straight that ladder was that Jacob saw at Bethel in the Old Testament. It led straight up to heaven.  When Jesus said the angels ascended and descended on the ladder on the Son of Man, I know He was referring to a straight ladder. We can have perfectly straight access to Him.  We wont find Him by ascending a twisted ladder. It made me wonder if our DNA strands will once again be straight, no longer twisted from the results of sin, when we are in heaven.
