Aug. 9, 2008 - One of my Language Arts Projects
My daughter has been begging forever for a myspace account. My answer has been firm NO . I realize there are web dangers any and everywhere but I just did not feel comfortable even though so many of her friends were doing it. She had been watching me tweek my homeschool blog and some of my yahoo groups. That is when the idea occured to me to do a homeschool blog for each of the kids and use it not only for socialization but language arts. The biggest part of yesterday and some of today has been setting up their new blogs. Zack is very shy so I thought this would be a great way for him to communicate and better his skills in that area. I can also use it so many ways in homeschooling...projects,communication/language arts,reports and computer skills .
So if you have kids around the ages of mine 10 and 11 have them check out the new blogs.

I think I could become addicted to designing blog templates...Of course I have tons to learn.

I think starting a blog for my son is a great idea! Of course, I have to talk to him about it. He is 9. I'll show him your son's blog and see what he thinks. Thanks for the idea!
