Oct. 21, 2008 - Thrifty Tuesday
Many of my blogger friends have a special day set aside on their blog. One friend does Wordless Wed. and one does Thankful Thurs., so I was thinking about doing a Thrifty Tuesday.
I love thrifting and being a family of 4 trying to live off of $1,660 a month it helps us financially. Many families are struggling these days and not only doing without wants but necessities. I hope that sharing some of our thrifty "secrets" will help others make ends meet . I would love to hear from others if they would share their own Thrifty ways with us.
I love receiving free samples in the mail. I have found many of the products I love and use time and time again this way. My favorite sample sites are :

I have several health issues and with no income and no insurance this program is a God Send to me. It really does work. Just my insulin for a week is $150, PPARX helped me find a program which supplies my insulin. Here are a few programs I personally know work. If you know of someone who can not afford their prescriptions and do not quailfy for Medicaid or Medicare please pass this along to them.
