Dec. 8, 2008 - Local News Station Used Parade Photos
Caroline was so excited that our local NBC news Station used two of the Photos she took at the Christmas Parade yesterday. Her cheerleading squad marched in the parade passing out candy canes. Did I mention it was only 36 degrees...brrrrr !!! When her squad finished marching we picked her up and took a back route to where the floats were coming out of our Veterans park to begin the march/ride to Main Street for the parade. She used my camera and took some photos of a neighboring city's University Band "The Red Sea of Sound"(Winston Salem State University Band). When we got home I helped her crop the pictures and email them to our local News station. They used two of her photos and one her dad took along with their weather report.
She really seems to have a talent and good eye for photos. It is something she enjoys and hopefully can continue to persue.

Below is the picture Hubby took . Of course he loved the cars and trucks.
