Mar. 12, 2009 - Learn About the Ocean

I absolutely love the ocean and the NC Coast. We have been blessed to take the kids and vacation at the coast two different times. Both have a love for the ocean. 

I found this free lesson resource on Oceans. It states grades 1 and 2 but could easily be modified for any grade. I think this will be a summer project for us. It will be something fun for the kids to do and keep them on a schedule for learning.

If you have a coastal vacation planned for this summer this could be a great learning tool.

What a beautiful beach. Is it close? I love the beach too (who doesn't?), but ours is pretty chilly except in the summer - and it's a two or three hour drive.
