1.That my house is much more "put together" than usual.

1. Britches~A wonderful Golden Retriever who passed away a few years ago.

1. Read Christy by Catherine Marshal out loud to my teenager.  We are enjoying trying to use southern mountain voices with this story that took place only 150 miles or so from our home.

The first dog we ever had was named Lady and the second dog, Oreo, was a lab/beagle mix. Aren't they just the greatest?

I really enjoyed reading this. Next week if all goes well I will be showing a video of a walk through our garden for Show and Tell. I am praying You Tube works for me. I haven't been able so far.

Ohhh I absolutely LOVE Christy !!! That is one of my FAVORITE books. I think I need to reread it soon. [0=

I am sorry it took me a bit getting over here. I have been having a hard time getting much blogging done this summer.
