sorry about the wait, I've been super busy.
Sense and Sensibility- Jane Austen
This is the second Jane Austen novel I've read (the first being Pride and Prejudice). I really liked this one. Much more than Pride and Prejudice. I liked how the Marianne and Elinor's relationship is focused on, instead the romantic realationships. It was also a good mixture of humour and drama. my two cents.

Time Out for Happiness by Frank Gilbretth Jr.
If you have ever read/seen Cheaper by the Dozen (the old one), you will know excactly who this book is about. but if you haven't, here's a short summary
Time Out for Happiness chronicles the lives of Frank and Lillian Gilbreth, both before and after their marriage. Whereas Cheaper by the Dozen focuses on their family life, Time Out for Happiness gives a more well-rounded picture of their lives, touching on business, family, and the hardships not covered in the earlier book. Unfortunately (because I want to buy it) Time Out for Happiness is out of print and rare. I found in my college library.
I cannot remember when I didnt know who the Gilbreths were. to find this "new" book about them was a wonderful treat, The book is weel-written and generally a easy read. In addition, I learned loads and had difficulty putting it done. I would recommend reading Cheaper by the Dozen amd if you can find it Belles on their Toes before you read this. you will appreciate it more. 5 stars.

Oct. 23, 2008 - To Kill a Mockingbird
I read To Kill a Mockingbird as part of a history assignment (I have to read A TIme to Kill as well). I really liked it. the book was sad, but really sweet. the author captures the cultural aspect really well. Of course, that is helped by the that she's from Alabama. anyway
