Acadiana Humane Society & Cat Ranch has been invited to participate at the Acadiana Home Show being held at the Cajundome Convention Center on September 7, 8 and 9. We will be in Booths 430 & 432 - see the map below.
The Acadiana Home Show is not just about homes…the bricks and wood. It's about the enjoyment our homes provide. It's about our Acadiana lifestyle of cooking and entertaining at home. It's about our pets. It's about our yards and gardens and outdoor recreation. It's about creating a special place - a place that reflects our lifestyle - a place that is uniquely OUR HOME!

We currently have Raffle Tickets available as a Fundraiser for the rescue animals. For every $1.00 donated, you get a chance in each of our raffle drawings! We have a booth at the Acadiana Home Show on September 7th through the 9th. At the Home Show raffle tickets will be made available for a $1.00 donation each. Anyone who donates online for raffle tickets at least 24 hours before each days drawings, will get a chance in each of these drawings. We will have drawings on September 7th, 8th, 9th, and again two months from now (date to be announced).
The prizes include, but are not limited to:
1. 3 Tupperware Surprise Packs valued at $100 or more each. (Drawings Sept 7th, 8th, & 9th.)

Prizes will be shipped via UPS Ground to winners in the Continental United States at no additional cost to the winner. However, we will ask that anyone outside of the Continental United States be willing to pay the shipping cost should they win. Below is a donation button. Please be sure PayPal payments are sent to raffle@acadianahumane.org to be sure you are entered in the drawing. Please include your physical shipping address in case you are one of the lucky winners. Each $1.00 donation gives you one chance in each drawing, up until that ticket is a winner. Once a ticket is a winner, it does not go back into the next drawing.

About Me
Homeschooling our three daughters and living in a rural area, has opened up the doors for teaching our kids about animal rescue and responsible pet care. Our oldest is now attending a local University on a full scholarship. All of our children have daily hands on experience in caring for the over 80 cats, several dogs, 1 rat, 6 rabbits, 2 ferrets, an iguana and 1 goat who reside with us. Some are permanent residents, most of the others are foster pets. All are loved very much. It has opened their eyes and hearts to the plight of unwanted pets, and the importance of spaying and neutering.
