Confessions from the Rubber Room...

• Jan. 22, 2008 - Wordless Wednesday - Could I Finally Be a Tea Girl?

I don't know...I have always been a coffee girl, but this is really good tea!  No kidding...the best I have ever tasted and...it's supposed to help you sleep with some Valerian Root in it; although, I think you'd have to hit me in the head with a hammer to knock me out..

Is it better than coffee?  Bite your tongue!  I'd never leave my beans!

so there are bags in there? It looks like a loose tea container. Which reminds me of a loose tea I had once that was really good and for the life of me I can't remember the flavor. I want to say ginger peach or something.

But no, don't leave the beans. Whatever you do.

Ok - I'm still laughing at the title of your blog - LOL!!! Great shot - I'll have to try it. I'm a tea girl too (and like you, it would take a heck of a lot more than a tea bag to knock me out...)

Your sweet comment made MY week! Thank you!

And your tea cannister? Now you've got me curious if I could be a "tea" girl :).

Sounds like a tea I could really get into. But like you, the beans are here to stay!

You let us know if it helps you sleep.
(but, like you, when I wake up I want to smell the coffee)

I don't drink either, but if it works is it bad to give to an 8 month old? It is? Crap! :)

I'm like you...I get in tea moods but just try to get me away from my coffee. I've probably gone overboard though when I started roasting my own coffee!

I invite you to see my WW post for this week at http://thoughtsofafather.blogspot.com

I wouldn't need that tea to fall asleep, I'm out like a light any time I get a chance. I'm glad you found a tea you like. :)

I've never tried it. I usually just use cheap Walmart brand teabags.

I need all the help I can get going to sleep sometimes. I don't want to take pills but anything to get my brain to power down for a few hours would be nice. :)

Happy WW!

I don't think I could give up my coffee, but I might have to give this tea a try- if it really helps me to sleep. In order to do that- the tea will have to be willing to help out with my 15 month old who still likes to get up during the night ;)

Great shot, Hallie! If sleep is elusive, try rubbing a couple drops of lavender oil into the bottom of each foot before bedtime. It's amazing stuff and it smells good. :D

Where did you get that? I'm not a coffee drinker, but I love hot tea and lately I've had trouble sleeping...

Great! I would love something to make my kids sleep, but I suppose that isn't nice, is it?

My husband and I drink this tea! Even our little 2 year old sips it. I love that they have hidden the Valerian Root smell and taste deep in the heart of mint and fruit. It's such a good blend. It doesn't "knock us out" either, but we do find ourselves to be a bit more mellow after a cup. :)
Enjoy the day that the Lord has made!

That was a close one! It's one thing to indulge in that sort of thing every once in a while, but to let it mean so much to you? To let it take over the rightful place of the beans?! Now that is totally unacceptable!

My freakish older daughter said she remembered that the tea was Vanilla something or other...that means she has been storing that information for at least 5 years.

Glad you are enjoying your tea stash ;-) Earl Grey or Greyer is yummy!

Don't cross over. Stay on the dark side. I can read the back, and it says "caffeine free." It may taste good, but you'll be sorry...eventually. =)
