A Promise

Jesus came from heaven above to die on a tree at Calvary for all my sins that I have done.  O, what a Savior.  O, what a friend.  He will keep you to the end.  If you are saved you’ll go to heaven to stay with him forever

This young lady is 8 years old and very dear to me. She has written her first devotion. She will be writing a series of devotions titled "God's Will for Girls". The first one is about listening to your parents. It was first published in our ladies newsletter at our church. I have set up a special category to file all her future devotions . Hear The Instruction of Your Father

The Bible is not just for adults.  It is for us girls, too.   Let’s look at some Bible verses that tell us how to live.  Proverbs 1:7 tells us that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge but fools hate wisdom and instruction.  Proverbs 4:1 tells us to hear the instruction of your father.  Proverbs 4:7 says wisdom is the number one thing to get and to also get understanding.  You may be asking yourself how do I get wisdom?  Hear the instruction of your father!  Ephesians 6:1-3 tells us girls to obey our parents and honor our father and mother.  If we do that we will live long on the earth.
