My Garden of Flowers

I don't feel all that better today, but I am very thankful my husband didn't have to take his business trip after a long day for him yesterday. He worked hard so he could stay home this week. Doesn't necessarily mean he won't have to take his business trip next week or even in the future. But I am thankful he is going to be home this week.

I had a much different week planned, one that I was not supposed to have a terrible cold that makes me sleepy, miserable and cranky. I have cookies to make for our women's retreat and preparations for a Pizza/Easter Party for my Cubbies class. I don't feel much like even making the dough and I don't even feel much like getting out of the house to pick up what I need for Sunday's party. Honestly I would just like to crawl back in bed and get well. But I still have two children who need me, cookies for the retreat, and a party to prepare for. I don't even feel much like knitting, something I generally love to sit and do.

It is a beautiful day, so I think I will just sit here and enjoy the sun coming through the windows. And maybe catch a nap before I have to get up and mix together the cookie dough.
