It's late but I thought I would write up a little something since it's been a few days. The week started out to celebrate my birthday (it was Monday), however we didn't make a big deal of it, especially since the news that started the day was quite disheartening. I also knew we had to get back to school studies and I had a VBS training meeting that night. Not to mention my son wasn't tin the best of moods that day.

I worked a bit on my knitting blog and posted my recent projects, helped with lessons and then remembered I had to get clothes for my son's dance class. We picked up our things, headed out the door and did our shopping, found what we needed for him, and even a couple of cut clearance hats for Lauren. Then we headed to church for our evening at church for VBS training. After the dinner I went off to my training class, while the rest of the family helped cleaned up dinner and headed home...or so I thought! I stayed to help clean up, but got a call from John asking me to come home...seemed something might be up! Turns out there was. John and the kids had picked up a few presents for me, had a vase of pink roses, a new CD playing (Celtic women), and chilled apple cider waiting. The presented me with a new HTML book, since I haven't a clue about HTML and have been wanting to learn it. They even decorate with a few pink streamers and had birthday banner (handmade) taped up. What a nice way to end a busy day!
